Sausalito
Sausalito is the Southernmost city in Marin County, and is the first city visitors from San Francisco see when driving north across the Golden Gate Bridge. This historic charming city hosts thousands of tourists each year, all clamouring to experience the waterfront shops, dining, and entertainment. On Labor Day weekend in September, Sausalito hosts the Sausalito Art Fair, which features hundreds of local artists and fabulous evenings of entertainment from world-reknowned entertainers and bands.
The Sausalito Chamber of Commerce has created a wonderful brochure that offers a list of things to do in Sausalito, whether you only have a couple of hours, or a few days. It's called "Sausalito...In Two Hours or Two Days."
