Novato
Novato is the northernmost city in Marin County. The population is about 52,000, and offers a rural atmosphere with a low population density, due to a large amount of land preserves. Novato has over 3,500 acres of open space and 27 parks. Novato is home to many community events, including a Farmers’ Market, Art, Wine and Music Festival, Nostalgia Days, Classic Car Show, Friday Night Movies, and a 4th of July Parade. Novato is home to one of the College of Marin campuses and headquarters to several corporations. The downtown area has undergone massive renovations and is a great place for dining, shopping, and living.
